About us We are a small village pre-school established 35 years ago, registered to take 20 children between two and a half and five years old. We are accommodated in the Village Hall, situated in the beautiful village of Childrey, next to the duck pond. We have close links with the Ridgeway Primary School which covers the catchment area of Childrey, West Challow, Sparsholt and the Letcombes. Although we do not have an outdoor area, we compensate by having regular visits to the village recreation ground, the Early Years outside area at the school and frequent walks around our picturesque village. A lottery grant has enabled us to purchase good quality equipment and resources for our group.
We welcome visits from parents and children at any time during our opening hours. Please telephone the pre-school during opening hours on 07763 975633 to arrange a visit.
Our Aims To provide a warm welcoming, stimulating, supportive and safe environment for children and their parents/carers. We encourage children to develop independence, respect for others and social skills through positive role modelling and praise. We provide a fun, stimulating and varied learning experience tailored to the needs of all the children in order to maximise their potential.
